About Dr. Priyadarshan
Dr. Priyadarshan Kumar is a highly skilled Head & Neck Cancer, Oral Cancer, and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgeon with more than a decade of surgical experience. He is among the youngest microvascular surgeons in India and one of the very few doctors to hold dual degrees in Medicine and Dentistry (MBBS, BDS, MDS) . He did his MBBS from Bihar University of Health Sciences. He completed his BDS and MDS (Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery) at the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, with first-division honors. He further trained under some of the finest cancer surgeons in the country, completing:
Fellowship in Head & Neck Oncology at Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute (CNCI), Kolkata
Fellowship in Oral Oncology at Malabar Cancer Centre (MCC), Kerala
Training at Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), Mumbai
With over 550+ successful surgeries, Dr. Kumar is highly experienced in managing advanced-stage cancers that extend even to the skull base. As a reconstructive surgeon, he has restored hope and normalcy for countless patients, performing 450+ local flaps and 150+ microvascular free flaps.
